Ta’Shae “Shae” Anthony is a Beacon House Youth Development Mentor and program alumna who has distinguished herself by her commitment to giving back in Edgewood.  Shae grew up in Edgewood Commons and participated in Beacon House programs throughout her childhood.  Today, Shae works closely with Beacon House Athletic and Mentoring Programs Director Rodney Cephas to support our high school students and to manage Athletics Program activities.  “Auntie Shae,” as many Beacon House students call her, celebrated her 10^th anniversary as a Beacon House staff member in 2020.  To commemorate this milestone, Beacon House formally recognized Shae for her service to Beacon House and the Edgewood community.  Shae says that she wants to positively influence the kids in her community, and that she is “proud to be a part of a long legacy.”
