Brittany joined Beacon House as Operations Associate in January 2023. Brittany comes to Beacon House after recently working with Prince George’s County Public Schools and has 5 years of similar administrative experience. Brittany was motivated to join Beacon House due to its long-standing presence in the community and recognition of its essential role in addressing issues such as the achievement gap. Her goal is to do the necessary work to create a more just and equitable society where every individual has the opportunity to succeed. Brittany is a proud alumna of Bowie State University, Maryland’s first historically Black college, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Adolescent Studies.
