Kesso Diallo joined Beacon House as its Education Program Director in August 2022. Kesso found her calling in education over a decade ago. She has served as a special education teacher and school administrator in elementary schools in the District of Columbia, and as a Director of Special Education and Mental Health for a network of high schools in California. She also holds a Master of Education and Special Education degree from Lesley University. Prior to pursuing a career in education, Kesso earned a law degree from Emory University and practiced intellectual property law. Raised in Northeast DC and PG County, Kesso is a proud product of public schools.
