Semetrice has been a Youth Development Mentor with Beacon House since September 2021.  She believes that “Children are like sponges.  They soak up everything.” So she knows the information they should take in must be positive, loving, and encouraging so they develop into productive and positive individuals.  Semetrice has worked with youth for two decades in various capacities.  She considers herself an “auntie” in education.
