Focus Tutoring Program:

FOCUS is a one to one back to basics math and reading tutoring program for youth grades 1-5. Students are paired with a trained volunteer to do one hour of math tutoring and one hour of reading tutoring. Students are tested after each step or series of steps in the curriculum to ensure full comprehension of the curriculum. Students show an average improvement of 1.2 grade levels in math, and 2.24 grade levels in reading.
Teen Tutoring Program (TTP)
Mondays 6:00 - 8:00pm
The TTP will provide academic assistance and support to high school students in 9th to 12th grade. They will receive one-to-one tutoring using the Wilson reading curriculum and For Love Of Children’s math curriculum.
YES Tutoring Program
Thursdays, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
YES is a group or one-on-one tutoring program for students in 6th—8th grade. Students are grouped together based on proficiency and paired with trained volunteers. Students are placed in appropriate steps in the curriculum based on their performance levels.
